24Web — Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. About Us

These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of domain name registration, web hosting, website design, website development and related digital services provided by 24Web.

Business details

  • Trading name: 24Web
  • Registered business address: [PO BOX 6945, Unit 4441, London W1A 6US]
  • Email: [info@24web.es]
  • Website: [24web.es]

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to 24Web. “You” and “your” refer to the customer purchasing or using our services.

By placing an order, accepting a quotation or using our services, you agree to the terms applicable to that service.

2. Services Provided

24Web may provide the following services:

  • Domain name registration, renewal, transfer and management.
  • Shared, managed or other web hosting services.
  • Website design, development and maintenance.
  • Content management systems, including WordPress installation and configuration.
  • Business email and related services, where specified.
  • SSL certificates, backups, security services and other optional extras.
  • Technical support and consultancy, where included in your package.

The precise scope, specification, price and delivery arrangements for each service will be confirmed in your quotation, order confirmation or separate service agreement.

A quotation or enquiry does not constitute a contract until accepted by both parties in the agreed manner.

3. Quotations and Orders

3.1. Quotations are based on the information supplied by the customer and the requirements understood at the time of preparation.

3.2. Unless otherwise stated, quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3.3. A quotation may be revised if the project requirements change, additional work is requested, or information supplied by the customer proves inaccurate or incomplete.

3.4. Any additional work outside the agreed specification will be quoted separately and must be approved before it is undertaken, except where urgent action is reasonably necessary to protect an existing service and the customer has authorised such action.

3.5. We reserve the right to decline an order where we reasonably consider that the requested service is unlawful, technically impractical or incompatible with our service policies.

3.6. We will provide confirmation of accepted orders and the relevant contract information in a format the customer can retain.

4. Domain Name Registration

4.1. Domain names are registered through relevant registries, registrars or authorised third-party providers.

4.2. Registering a domain does not guarantee ownership of a trademark or other intellectual property rights. Customers are responsible for checking that their chosen domain does not infringe third-party rights.

4.3. All domain registrations are subject to the rules, eligibility requirements and policies of the relevant domain registry and registrar.

4.4. Domain availability cannot be guaranteed until registration has been successfully completed. We cannot guarantee that a requested domain will remain available while an order is being processed.

4.5. Domain registration and renewal fees are generally payable in advance. Domain registration fees may be non-refundable once a registration or renewal has been completed, subject to applicable consumer rights and any refund entitlement under the relevant registrar’s policies.

4.6. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their domain contact details, registrant information and administrative email address remain accurate and up to date.

4.7. Customers must respond to domain verification requests and renewal notices promptly. Failure to do so may result in suspension, expiry or loss of a domain.

4.8. We will take reasonable steps to notify customers of upcoming domain renewals where we manage the relevant registration. However, customers remain responsible for monitoring renewal dates and ensuring that sufficient funds and correct contact details are available.

4.9. Where a domain expires, restoration may be possible subject to registry rules, availability and additional charges. We cannot guarantee recovery of an expired domain.

4.10. Domain names remain subject to the relevant registry and registrar’s terms. Where permitted, customers may request a transfer to another provider, subject to outstanding payments, verification procedures and applicable transfer restrictions.

4.11. We will not knowingly claim ownership of a customer’s domain merely because we registered or manage it on the customer’s behalf. The registrant recorded with the relevant registrar or registry will be determined by the registration arrangements and applicable rules.

5. Web Hosting Services

5.1. Hosting packages include the features, storage, bandwidth, email facilities, software limits and other resources specified in the applicable quotation or package description.

5.2. Hosting services are provided on an ongoing basis, subject to maintenance, security requirements, third-party infrastructure and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5.3. We will use reasonable care and skill in providing hosting services. However, unless an express service-level agreement states otherwise, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a website will always be accessible without errors.

5.4. Scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, software updates, security incidents and third-party network failures may temporarily affect availability.

5.5. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their website, applications, plugins, themes, scripts and uploaded files are compatible with the hosting environment.

5.6. Unless expressly included in the package, website development, plugin configuration, troubleshooting of customer-developed software and repairs to third-party applications are not included in hosting fees.

5.7. Customers must maintain appropriate website security and ensure that login credentials are kept confidential. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect our infrastructure, other customers or the security of a website.

5.8. Hosting accounts must not be used to distribute malware, conduct phishing, send unsolicited bulk email, infringe intellectual property rights, host unlawful material or undertake activities that compromise the security or performance of our systems.

5.9. Resource limits, fair-use requirements and any restrictions on email sending, storage, bandwidth or processing will be those specified in the applicable package or acceptable-use policy.

5.10. We may restrict or suspend a service where necessary to address a security threat, unlawful activity, serious breach of these terms or material risk to other users. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify the customer and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue. Emergency action may be taken without prior notice where necessary.

6. Website Design and Development

6.1. Website design and development work will be carried out according to the agreed quotation, specification and project scope.

6.2. Customers must provide the text, images, logos, business information, access credentials and other materials reasonably required to complete the project.

6.3. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all supplied materials are accurate, lawful and authorised for use.

6.4. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as binding in writing. Delays in receiving content, approvals, payments or instructions may extend the project timetable.

6.5. Where the project includes design approval stages, the customer must review submitted work and provide feedback within the agreed period. Delays in feedback may affect delivery dates.

6.6. The quotation will specify the number of revisions included. Additional revisions, substantial changes or work outside the original specification may incur extra charges, which will be agreed before the additional work proceeds.

6.7. Unless expressly included in writing, website design fees do not include ongoing content updates, SEO campaigns, paid advertising, copywriting, photography, third-party software licences, premium themes, plugin subscriptions or maintenance.

6.8. We will make reasonable efforts to test the website in the agreed environment. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every browser, device, operating system, plugin, third-party service or future software update.

6.9. Where a customer or another developer makes changes to a website after delivery, we are not responsible for resulting faults or compatibility issues unless those changes are part of an agreed support service.

6.10. The customer is responsible for checking and approving the final website before launch, including text, contact details, pricing, links, images and business information.

6.11. Unless expressly agreed, website design does not constitute a guarantee of search engine rankings, website traffic, sales, leads, conversion rates or commercial results.

7. Website Developers and Third-Party Software

7.1. Websites may rely on third-party platforms, plugins, themes, APIs, payment providers, fonts, stock images or other software.

7.2. Third-party products are subject to their own licences, terms, support arrangements and update policies.

7.3. Where a customer or an independent developer selects, installs or configures third-party software, responsibility for determining its suitability, compatibility and functionality rests with that party unless we have expressly agreed to perform those tasks.

7.4. As a hosting provider, we may confirm the hosting environment’s specifications and supported technologies. We do not automatically undertake to test or certify that a particular website, plugin or application is suitable for that environment.

7.5. Any compatibility testing, migration, debugging or remedial development work must be expressly included in the quotation or separately agreed.

7.6. We are not responsible for changes, discontinuation, licence costs or faults introduced by third-party providers, except to the extent that applicable law makes us responsible.

8. Payments, Invoicing and Taxes

8.1. Prices will be stated in the quotation or order confirmation and will identify any applicable taxes or additional charges.

8.2. Unless otherwise agreed, website design projects may require an initial deposit, with the balance payable at the agreed milestones or before launch or transfer of the completed deliverables.

8.3. Hosting, domains and recurring services are normally payable in advance for the specified billing period.

8.4. Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.

8.5. Where an invoice remains unpaid, we may issue reminders and, after reasonable notice, suspend the affected service or withhold delivery of unpaid work where legally permitted.

8.6. Any late-payment interest, recovery costs or other charges will only be applied where permitted by applicable law and, where required, agreed contractually.

8.7. Prices may change for future renewal periods. We will give reasonable advance notice of price changes and any notice required by applicable law. Customers may cancel a service before the new price takes effect, subject to the contract and applicable legal rights.

8.8. No optional service, upgrade or additional charge will be added without the customer’s agreement.

9. Renewals and Recurring Services

9.1. Domain registrations, hosting packages, maintenance plans and other subscriptions may renew automatically where this is clearly disclosed and agreed at the time of purchase.

9.2. The renewal frequency, renewal price or pricing method, notice arrangements and cancellation procedure will be provided before the customer commits to the recurring service.

9.3. Customers should keep their payment details and contact information up to date and ensure that renewal notifications can be received.

9.4. Customers may cancel recurring services using the cancellation method stated in their account or service agreement. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the applicable paid period unless the agreement or applicable law provides otherwise.

9.5. We will not use cancellation terms that remove statutory consumer rights or impose charges prohibited by applicable law.

9.6. Consumer subscription contracts will be administered in accordance with applicable UK or EU legislation, including any mandatory requirements concerning renewal notices, price changes, cooling-off periods and cancellation.

10. Cancellations and Consumer Rights

10.1. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

10.2. Where a consumer enters into an eligible distance contract, they may have a statutory 14-day cancellation period. The applicable period and rules depend on the type of service, the customer’s location and the circumstances of the contract.

10.3. Where a customer requests that website design, hosting setup, migration or another service begins during a statutory cancellation period, we will obtain any express request, consent or acknowledgement required by law.

10.4. Where a consumer validly cancels after requesting early commencement of a service, they may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied where the law permits. Any loss of cancellation rights following full performance will apply only where the legal requirements have been satisfied.

10.5. Domain registrations, renewals, software licences and other third-party purchases may involve costs that cannot be recovered from the provider. These costs do not override any mandatory consumer refund or cancellation rights.

10.6. Once a statutory cancellation period has expired, cancellation and refund entitlements will be governed by the agreed service terms and applicable law. Work already completed, recurring fees, third-party costs and deposits will be treated in accordance with those rules and the specific contract.

10.7. To cancel a service, customers should contact [Insert cancellation email] or use the cancellation facility provided with their account. A statutory cancellation notice may be submitted by any method permitted by applicable law.

10.8. If a service is defective, materially fails to conform to the agreed specification or is not supplied as required, customers retain any applicable rights to repair, correction, price reduction, termination or refund.

11. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact, billing and domain registration information.
  • Supply content and instructions in a timely manner.
  • Keep account passwords and access credentials secure.
  • Maintain any backups that are their responsibility.
  • Ensure that their website and its content comply with applicable laws.
  • Obtain all necessary permissions for text, images, fonts, logos, trademarks and other materials.
  • Maintain any required licences for third-party software.
  • Inform us promptly of suspected unauthorised access or security incidents affecting their service.
  • Pay agreed charges when due.

Customers must not use our services for unlawful purposes or in a way that interferes with the services of other customers.

12. Backups, Data Loss and Security

12.1. Backup frequency, retention periods, restoration facilities and associated charges will be as stated in the applicable hosting package or service agreement.

12.2. Unless expressly included, we do not guarantee that a complete, current and restorable backup of every customer file, database, email or configuration will always be available.

12.3. Customers should maintain independent backups of important website files, databases, email and other business data.

12.4. We will take reasonable measures appropriate to the services supplied to protect our systems. No hosting environment or internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12.5. We will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law and our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on a customer’s behalf, the parties will put in place any data processing agreement required by law.

13. Intellectual Property and Ownership

13.1. Customers retain ownership of content, images, logos, documents and other materials they provide, subject to any third-party rights.

13.2. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, frameworks, templates, code libraries, methods, know-how and other materials developed independently of the customer’s project.

13.3. Unless the quotation states otherwise, upon full payment of all amounts due, the customer will receive the rights expressly agreed for the bespoke website deliverables. Any transfer of copyright or other intellectual property rights will be governed by the written project agreement.

13.4. Third-party themes, plugins, stock assets, fonts and software remain subject to their respective licences and are not transferred beyond the rights those licences permit.

13.5. We may use properly licensed third-party components and open-source software where appropriate for the project.

13.6. We will not use customer-owned materials outside the performance of the contract except with permission or where legally permitted.

13.7. We may request permission to display completed work in our portfolio or promotional materials. Customer consent will be obtained where required, and confidential information will not be disclosed without authorisation.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

14.1. We process personal information as explained in our separate Privacy Policy.

14.2. Depending on the circumstances, applicable laws may include the UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant national legislation.

14.3. Customers must ensure that their own websites have appropriate privacy notices, cookie information, consent mechanisms and other legal disclosures where required.

14.4. Unless specifically included in the service, we do not provide legal advice or guarantee that a customer’s website complies with privacy, cookie, marketing, accessibility or sector-specific legislation.

14.5. Where we act as a data processor for customer website data, the customer remains responsible for its own legal obligations as controller where applicable. The parties will agree appropriate processing terms and security measures.

14.6. Personal information will only be processed, shared and retained as permitted by applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

15. Service Suspension and Termination

15.1. Either party may terminate a service in accordance with the applicable quotation, service agreement and cancellation provisions.

15.2. We may suspend or terminate a service where reasonably necessary due to non-payment, unlawful activity, a serious breach of these Terms, a security risk or a material threat to our systems or other customers.

15.3. Except where immediate action is reasonably necessary, we will normally provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach before suspension or termination.

15.4. Where a service is terminated, the customer remains responsible for outstanding charges lawfully due up to the termination date and any other amounts payable under the applicable agreement.

15.5. Customers should arrange the transfer of domains, website files, databases, email and other data before a service ends.

15.6. Assistance with website migration, data export, domain transfer or account handover may be chargeable if it falls outside the agreed service.

15.7. Following termination, customer data may be deleted in accordance with the applicable retention policy and legal requirements. Customers should export their data before termination.

15.8. We will not withhold a customer’s domain or lawfully owned materials contrary to applicable law or any binding contractual obligation.

16. Limitation of Liability

16.1. We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill and will be responsible for losses to the extent required by applicable law.

16.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

16.3. Where the customer is a consumer, nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

16.4. Subject to the above, and to the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, customer-supplied errors, unauthorised changes made by third parties, or the failure of third-party services for which we are not responsible.

16.5. To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential business losses, loss of anticipated profits, loss of opportunity or loss of goodwill arising from a service failure.

16.6. Any financial cap on liability for business customers must be expressly stated in the relevant quotation or service agreement and will apply only to the extent that it is reasonable and enforceable under applicable law.

16.7. Customers are expected to take reasonable steps to mitigate losses and maintain suitable backups and contingency arrangements for their business-critical data.

17. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be in breach of these Terms where performance is delayed or prevented by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including major internet outages, power failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, government action, industrial disputes or failures of essential third-party infrastructure.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effects of such events and resume services where possible.

This clause does not remove any mandatory consumer rights or obligations that continue to apply.

18. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

18.1. Customers should initially contact us at [Insert support email] with details of the issue and any relevant order or invoice reference.

18.2. We will investigate complaints fairly and make reasonable efforts to resolve them promptly.

18.3. Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may pursue any legal remedies available under the applicable law.

18.4. Consumers may have access to national consumer protection bodies, mediation services or other dispute-resolution procedures depending on their country of residence.

18.5. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to waive the right to bring a claim before a court or use a mandatory dispute-resolution procedure where applicable.

19. Changes to These Terms

19.1. We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business operations or legal obligations.

19.2. Material changes affecting an existing service will be notified where required by law or the applicable contract.

19.3. Changes to existing contracts will take effect only in accordance with the contract and applicable law. Where a customer has a right to reject a change or terminate the service, we will respect that right.

19.4. The version in force when an order was accepted will generally govern that order, subject to any valid subsequent variation and mandatory legal requirements.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

20.1. For business customers, the governing law and courts will be those specified in the accepted quotation or service agreement, subject to applicable law.

20.2. Where 24Web is established in the United Kingdom, English law may be selected for contracts where appropriate, provided that doing so is lawful and enforceable.

20.3. Where a consumer resides in an EU Member State, mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rights may continue to apply notwithstanding a choice of law.

20.4. Nothing in this clause deprives a consumer of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws applicable to their contract.

21. General Provisions

21.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

21.2. A failure or delay in exercising a right does not automatically constitute a waiver of that right.

21.3. Customers may not transfer their contractual rights or obligations without our consent, except where permitted by law. We will not unreasonably withhold consent where applicable law requires otherwise.

21.4. We may use suitable subcontractors or third-party providers to deliver parts of our services while remaining responsible for our own contractual obligations as required by law.

21.5. These Terms, together with the accepted quotation, order confirmation, applicable service specification and any separate agreements, form the contract between the parties for the services concerned.

21.6. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specifically negotiated written agreement, the negotiated agreement will take precedence for the matter concerned, subject to mandatory law.
